Seed Oil Free Restaurant's near Fairplay and Breckenridge, Colorado

If you're reading this blog then you are probably a cautious eater like us. While we are not perfect espeically when traveling it is nice when you can keep your wellness routines some what in line when on the road and our little town is a wellness haven that continues to get better and better. Here are some of the best family friendly seed-oil free restaurant's when staying with us near Fairplay or Breckenridge, CO area.

For Breakfast

Bristlecone Bakeshop & Black Kettle Coffee Shop A perfect match! Get your morning pastries and an extra loaf of bread fresh from the local baker then cross the street for a beverage of your choice. She mills her whole grains in store and ferments most of her pastries at our high altitude. She also only uses butter which is a huge treat when consuming her lovely crossiants! Go early for the best selection. 

For Lunch

Otto’s Food Cart Alma or Fairplay Colorado renowned fried chicken sandwiches with a varied menu. They run seasonal specials but my favorite is the Fried Chicken BLT with a side of Cajun Fries. They are now only using beef tallow in their fryers at both locations which is such a huge treat!

JR’s Pizza Place Awesome wood fired pizza in his new brick and mortar building! JR makes his dough from scratch and only uses olive oil and butter in his kitchen which is the way it should be!

For Dinner

Mavericks BBQ in Fairplay, New to town but making a name of his own! Slow cooking BBQ dishes where you can dine in a converted school bus! Cozy intamate and great for summer dining. They offer catering too for larger gatherings. They only use butter, bacon drippings, and beef tallow in their dishes.
